About Teens in Action
Teens in Action was created to harness the power of Lebanon’s youth in creating real positive change in our society. The economic and political chaos in Lebanon, worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic and the catastrophic port explosion, has caused immense suffering and frustration for families. These overlapping crises have created a state of uncertainty for Lebanese families, a constant struggle to survive in the face of adversity.
Teens in Action empowers Lebanon’s youth, channeling their energy and skills into volunteering efforts that transform the narrative. Our volunteers turn despair into hope, using their abilities to restore damaged neighborhoods and uplift affected families. From restoring homes shattered by the port explosion to providing food and medical supplies to those in need, each act of kindness signifies a step towards a brighter future. Our movement transcends sectarian or political differences, fostering unity and disrupting the status quo. We believe in a Lebanon where young minds work hand in hand to rise above the chaos and create an inclusive, prosperous society. Through Teens in Action, we are not only restoring infrastructure, we are rebuilding faith – faith in our ability to affect change, and ultimately, faith in Lebanon’s future.
